Al's work far exceeded our expectations. This was true craftsmanship - quality, care and expertise. The wood repair was done with a sharp eye to the tradition and form of the pieces. The refinishing brought out the lost elegance that we could only hope still existed when we bought them. The pieces are now our favorite things in our home. We feel like with Al's work, he brought something back to life. I can't say enough good things about Al and his work. We look forward to the next opportunity to use him in the future.

I have given Al and his team numerous antique pieces furniture to work on. He has repaired and refinish a 150 year old pine chest and a 180 yr old cherry drop down table, He reglued and cleaned several small tables and four old birdcage chairs. He also repaired the springs in two 120+ yr old French armchairs and he reattached the top to a 17th century pioneer’s chest. Al was also able to give me history on the pieces and validate age. Al and his team do fantastic work at a very reasonable price and I would highly recommend them.

I have been very pleased with the work North Georgia Furniture Restoration has done for me! I gave them an antique oak split pedestal table I’ve had in storage for years because it fell apart. When it came back; we were amazed, it’s a totally beautiful table now! We also had an antique rocker which needed new leather seat, springs reworked and a leather back replaced. It’s an absolute show stopper now! Love their work so much, we’ve given them more pieces to refurbish for us ….have not been disappointed in the results! So glad I found them!

I used North Georgia Furniture Restoration to reupholster and refinish an antique chair and loveseat. Both pieces came back looking even better than I expected. North Georgia Furniture Restoration did an outstanding job of the upholstery, itself, but even more important, they fixed the foundation of the furniture. They retied the springs and replaced the cushions that were missing. Both pieces are now sturdy and comfortable. I am proud to show these family heirlooms off to visitors to my home.

North Georgia does a beautiful job of restoring furniture at a fair price. The furniture is cleaned, conditioned and restored with a finish that matches the history of the piece. I have had two pieces restored which are antiques from the late 1800's. The dressers are from the Cliff House and Wildmere Hotels at Lake Minnewaska, New Paltz, N.Y. As I am able, I will send more pieces to be restored.
